As a research base for its theatrical projects, La Neura Teatre develops the conference Theatre on the Margin: staging madness, a space for meeting and shared reflection with associations and activists for the depathologization of psychic suffering. These conferences become a point of union between art, mental health and social commitment, where, through round tables, workshops and open dialogues, artistic and conceptual perspectives are shared that enrich creative practice.

Why do we have the need to express pain? What does sharing these experiences give us? What is the difference between talking about it and working on it through art?

The conference has the collaboration of various entities, such as Abilis, Nikosia, Holy Fools, La Trifulga dels Futils, María Bascompte, La Dula Ocell de Foc, Radio Vallromanes, Cía Polígonos, Cía Llavors, Fes, Trenca, Mou-te, among others, which contribute their experience and unique perspective, weaving networks between citizens, the arts and activism.
